“This week I learned a lot not only about psychology but also about myself so it was really productive for me. Working with people who are such talented, caring and making great effort makes me so happy. Since I am a psychology student, all of them are really important and valuable role models for me. If one of the therapists have a feedback about me both negative or positive, I would really like to hear that. It was a pleasure for me to work with you!”

“I am so happy to have spend the week with you and the children. I am sure that not only the children benefits from the workshop, we all do and will continue to do so over time. Last Saturday I was shaken deeply after the suicide bombings, which lead to fear and immobility all over my body and my soul. I still decided to get outside, and take part in planting small seeds of hope. Now I look back and am very happy that I have done it. Throughout the week, I was able to focus on hope and movement instead of being paralyzed by fear and immobility. Project Lift children, their very being and our work with them played a big role in this. I am calm and happy and hopeful now. I feel like I am at the beginning of a personal change process and am curious to see what it will evolve into. “

“It was a great week for me. I learned a lot. Thank you. The change and progress of children is evident and frequently discussed. I realized the same for myself. Your feedback and supervision helped me cope with the last day of the project and although it was hard to say goodbye to the children, it was the day I felt most comfortable in. I now know what to do and how to do it better. I am now able to stay calm. I am also very happy to have experienced and take part of Dance Movement sessions. I find myself reminiscing about how the children were so excited, happy, and eager to participate during warm up and activities. I hope to see you all soon. Thank you again for giving me this opportunity, it reminded me why I want to pursue a career working with children and not to give up my dreams to become a clinical therapist. It feels really good to work with Project Lift. The therapists, the team, the organisation, the volunteer and of course the children are very special. Thank you again.”

“Since it was the last day it seemed natural for the children to be acting out more so it didn't upset or surprise me too much. I was just happy I felt more capable of handling the difficult moments.”

“In general i feel really happy for a lot of signs that i could see in them, of course they need much more help and i wish that they will have better oportunities but i will try to think in all the things that they could learn from this week, as much as I learnt from them that I will keep always in my mind.”
